Custom Layouts, Framing, and Motion for Virtual Experiences (Creative Direction, Design, Motion Design)




As the Video and Design Lead for Zoom’s Event Services team, I drive the visual and creative direction for all high-profile internal and external virtual productions.

I design and develop all broadcast graphics—from still assets to motion design—including custom broadcast backgrounds, branded overlays, lower thirds, Q&A overlays, chat windows, stinger transitions, and animated visual transitions that enhance the flow and polish of live shows.

In my role, I act as the sole creative director across all productions, defining the look and feel of each show by translating brand guidelines and marketing assets from both internal stakeholders and external clients into a unified visual experience.

I serve as the primary editor for all pre-recorded and post-event content, including talking head videos, panel discussions, product demos, sizzle reels, and other marketing deliverables—ensuring each piece is visually cohesive, brand-aligned, and impactful.

Collaborating closely with marketing teams, I help them align their goals with the visual opportunities of each event—often pushing for creative risks and innovative ideas that elevate the final experience beyond expectations.

On the production side, I set up and coordinate pre-recording sessions using Zoom ISO, Direct Cloud Recording, or full-scale video capture workflows, ensuring all content is captured with the highest production standards.

I’ve also created a complete suite of branded sales collateral and creative assets to support external sales for the Event Services team, enhancing the team’s ability to pitch and secure new business.

My experience includes editing and creatively directing high-stakes earnings calls—both for Zoom and for venture capital firms—transforming them from standard video conferences into polished, fully branded presentations with a level of production quality appropriate to their importance.

Finally, I serve as the key liaison between the Event Services team and a range of creative collaborators, including internal brand teams, external client creative teams, and third-party agencies—ensuring all visual outputs align seamlessly with the overarching creative direction and brand standards of each event.
